Photo Walk with Eric

Come and join Eric on Saturday, July 30, 9am-1pm for a "Photo Walk". This 4 hour excursion will cover the basic and advanced realms of using natural light with still subjects and people.

The first 2 hours will be based on Still Life photography. Eric will teach you about your camera mode functions, custom functions, white balance, aperture, shutter speed, lens selection and composition-- all live and hands on. You will be walking to Bush Park to learn to improve the way you see light and what it does, while shooting still subjects such as flowers. Using specific lenses and apertures will be thoroughly explained.

The second half, Eric will teach 2 hours of Portraiture. With a model present, Eric will teach proper lighting and how composition and lens selection can dramatically improve portraits. You will be taught, hands on, Eric's little secrets for exceptional lighting in any situation, how to back-light, side-light, and add catch-light. Eric will also cover posing techniques and how to get that perfect expression out of your subject without making them feel uncomfortable. Eric is a master at capturing light without the need for artificial flash lighting. He will teach techniques he uses every day-- how to use reflective light, how to find lead lines, how to add drama, and easy posing to make your subject look their best.

If you would like to learn how to be a better photographer from one of the most recognized artists in the area, this is your chance! Every question will be addressed while you work with your camera. There is nothing better than learning from the best, while using your own gear!

Requirements: Digital SLR. Multiple lenses are encouraged - feel free to bring all your gear.

Only $199 per person! Only 10 spots available so call now 503-362-8899.
