If you are looking for a good amateur camera for every day use, we suggest the Canon Powershot SX110. This camera can be found at Costco, Best Buy, and other stores. It will run around $250. Eric bought me one for Christmas and I love it! I use it all the time and couldn't be more pleased. Just remember that I am the photographer's wife, NOT the photographer. I need simple!
