Date Night Out

This was an evening I'll never forget! Our youngest son, Kaleb, 8, took me out on a date. We went to dinner at a Chinese restaurant where I had to pretend like I was an 8 year old. He paid for us (with the help from dad) and left the tip. Next we ventured across the street to go to the movies. Again, he said it was on him and he paid. I even got popcorn! At the movies he just wanted me to be mom. I could handle that.

My sweet son opened doors for me, paid for me, and learned how to be a gentleman. It was ever so special and I suggest all parents go on dates with their children. It was awesome!
